What is a physiotherapist?
A physiotherapist is an expert in the assessment and treatment of pain and altered function (strength, flexibility, co-ordination, mobility).
Physiotherapists work in a variety of settings including private practice, hospitals, schools and in a consultancy basis.
In the area of sports injury management physiotherapists are entrusted with the worlds best athletes (Olympic Teams, AFL, Commonwalth Games Teams) due to our comprehesive training and treatment capabilities.
You do not require a Doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist.
